Welcome to Erie Wind Stables!

My name is Sam Speed, founder and owner of Erie Wind Stables. With a lifetime of experience in the equine industry, sharing these incredible animals with others has always been my greatest passion — and the reason Erie Wind Stables was created.

My goal has always been to build a welcoming, supportive environment where riders of all ages and experience levels can learn, grow, and enjoy everything the horse world has to offer. Whether you’re stepping into the barn for the very first time or continuing your journey in and out of the show ring, Erie Wind Stables is a place where both horses and people are cared for like family.

From lessons and training to boarding and camps, every part of our program is built around quality care, and a genuine love of the horse. I’m incredibly grateful to share this passion with our clients and community, and I look forward to welcoming you to the barn.
